Following the success of a previous project delivered by McFeggan Brown, Bishop Fleming once again entrusted the team to transform their workplace—this time with a comprehensive refurbishment of their existing offices at Salt Quay House.

At the heart of the brief was the creation of a vibrant new social hub, centred around enhanced breakout facilities and designed to make the very most of the building’s spectacular harbour views.

The new space provides an inspiring environment for colleagues to meet, collaborate and unwind, while also creating a fantastic setting for client and staff functions—including Bishop Fleming’s popular annual fireworks event.

Recognising how working practices have evolved, the design team also introduced a range of dedicated spaces for individual focused working, private conversations and smaller video-conference meetings. These flexible, acoustically enclosed areas ensure the workplace can respond to the increasing demands of hybrid and agile working.

Project Delivery

Throughout the refurbishment, the emphasis was on creating an environment that actively encourages everyone into the workplace.

Improved natural light, carefully considered biophilic planting, enhanced finishes with a greater sense of openness and space combine to create an office that feels welcoming, contemporary and energising.

The result is a workplace that offers colleagues something their home-working environment cannot easily replicate: A destination for collaboration, connection and shared experience, with exceptional facilities and one of the best views in the city.
