Bath Building Society wanted to upgrade a dated office to reflect changes to the business. The original design was based on a higher desk occupancy working out of the building and did not support hybrid working practices.

Seeing as the building was listed, there was a limit to the extent of our work. However, new lighting was still required, so Bluetooth LEDs were chosen to enable us to use existing wiring but still provide a contemporary feel. All five floors are now controlled with one app.

The client needed some swing space to make the project possible, therefore, one of their branches nearby was refurbished for them to use before we could start in the main headquarters. As the client needed to move out completely, they were eager to move back in as soon as possible. Even with a tight deadline, we were able to deliver complete this project in 12 weeks.

This Grade I listed office was turned around in 12 weeks with a full fit out and transformed into a contemporary space worthy of any business. All while navigating a busy Queen’s Square in Bath for challenging deliveries.

The team navigated 5 floors without a lift, all differing in height, and no possibility of altering the walls, wiring, nor ornate moldings throughout to truly shine as an HQ should.
