Project Brief
With its prominent city location, Mostly Media is a business that thrives in helping start-ups and established brands grow by maximising return on advertising investment.
They were keen to transform the 3,300 sqft ground and first floor area at 11 Kelso Place into a space that would enhance the buildings’ historic stone appearance and create an attractive place to work for new staff who had only ever worked from home over the past 18 months. Not only that, but they also required the third floor refurbished in view of future subletting.
At the heart of the decision for the CAT B refurbishment was the team, rewarding the staff with a well-deserved place to work. A space they can come together, collaborate and produce creative ideas for the company.
Throughout the design and fit out process, the McFeggan Brown team engaged and worked in full collaboration with Mostly Media building confidence and trust.
After 12 weeks on site, the building interior was transformed from an empty shell into a fun, creative, and open-plan office – not only does it look inspiring but serves a valuable purpose. A space that tailors to a variety of working styles and where staff can escape from their desks to a cosy breakout area, relax and have a game of table football!
Key Design Features:
Soft furnishings dotted throughout the space, merging office and comfort together.
Exposed ceiling and services for an industrial feel making the most of the historic building
Graphics that bring out the local historical era from previous centuries as well clients artwork displayed around the area
Meeting rooms with full height glazing with the continued colour and decor scheme subtly throughout.
