5 Modern Office Spaces To Inspire Your Office Refurbishment
When it comes to office design there’s so much to consider. From striking the right balance between functionality and aesthetics to space planning, signage and budgeting; knowing where to start can seem daunting.
That’s where, as an office fit out company, McFeggan Brown can help.
To give you some inspiration as you set out on your office refurbishment journey, we’ve pulled together 5 of our favourite recent commercial office fit outs for you to take a look at.
Mostly Media Office Refurbishment
Mostly Media is one of the UK’s top 20 independent media planning and buying specialists.
Having recently relocated to Bath from their former offices in Bradford-on-Avon, they were eager to attract new staff with a brand new office space that would complement the unique character of the building.
Opting for a CAT B refurbishment, we worked alongside Mostly Media to transform the existing space into a fun and contemporary open-plan office. From exposed ceilings to beautiful, bold branding and industrial-style stone washed walls, we combined the old with the new to create something truly unique. Take a look at our Mostly Media case study.
iPipeline Office Refurbishment
Based in Cheltenham, software company iPipeline were looking to expand their business and relocate to a larger office that would suit the company’s growth.
After deciding to make the 1970’s landmark “The Quadrangle” their new home, we designed a sophisticated multifunctional office that incorporates both large open social spaces and quieter private booths. For the colour scheme, we paired monochromatic tones such as white, pale grey and charcoal with bold pops of colour to make an impact. Find out more about the project here.
Coveya Kitchen and Toilets Refurbishment
Bristol based company Coveya specialises in the manufacturing and supply of conveyor systems both within the UK and internationally.
Having worked with them previously, Coveya came back to McFeggan Brown wanting brand new first floor kitchen and toilet facilities. In need of a little TLC, we completely transformed the area into a bright and modern, open-plan space for all of their staff to enjoy. See more images here.
WD Trust Office Refurbishment
Every once in a while, we come across an office building that stands out from the rest. In 2021, we carried out works at Vertigo, an office development with a grade II listed shot tower built back in 1969.
A Not-for-profit organisation, WD trust, approached us wanting a total refurbishment of two very dated office spaces which required new electrics, flooring, furniture and decor. After 8 weeks of renewal, we achieved a fresh, contemporary space with plenty of stylish seating areas for their staff to choose from. Take a look at the WD Trust case study.
Cowi Office Refurbishment
COWI, a long-standing civil engineering client based in York, requested an office refurbishment to refresh their existing office in York.
In order to accommodate their hybrid working model, we created an office that encourages flexibility and provides plenty of space for collaborative working and Zoom calls. As the company takes pride in its focus on well-being, we ensured that all desks were height adjustable for maximum comfort. For that added wow factor, we incorporated calming, organic textures and foliage to the walls along with striking, abstract acoustic panels. Read the full case study.
