Project Brief
A large food ingredient producer, Kerry Foods is an Irish-based company with a production facility and laboratories located in Portbury Dock, Avonmouth, near Bristol. They chose Kastner to help them with a complete laboratory renovation. The outdated furniture was stripped out and disposed of, a new floor was laid, and the Kastner installation team installed the new benching, including some bespoke drawer units for the storage of their small sample pots.
Another feature of the installation was the granite balance bench on anti-vibration mountings, set into the worktop to give a stable, vibration-free surface for the electronic analytical balance.
