Project Brief
We recently completed the install at Tipton for HR Chempharm. The finished laboratory includes a number of features provided to the client’s specification including the wash hand sinks, Trespa benchtop, reagent shelving, upstand around the windows, special solvent resistant sinks, solvent storage cabinet and laboratory fume cupboard.
One unique feature about this project, and one that others could take note of as it was a very good idea, was the client’s approach to the laboratory storage. All the laboratory furniture was installed and the laboratory was brought into use, the requirement for laboratory cupboards and drawers was then assessed based on actual usage and daily requirement. Not only did this mean the cost was spread, but also the correct mix of cupboards and drawers was selected.
