Future Space is a vibrant cluster of science based companies situated within the UWE (University of the West of England) Filton campus in Bristol. The facility offers incubation space to spin-out companies from UWE and the other universities in the region who can share the facilities that the centre offers.
Kastner were involved right from the start and installed laboratory furniture throughout the facility, initially for Future Space themselves, then for some of the laboratories who moved in.
Elaine McKechnie, Regional Manager for Oxford Innovations who are the administrators for the new centre, said she was very pleased with the installation. The combination of open benches and roll-under storage provided the ideal solution for a flexible workspace that will be used by a variety of different clients.
