Project Brief
Nanopharm, based in Newport, are a leading provider of tailored analytical and product development services for orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Some of their work involves working with fine particles of pharmaceuticals in both liquid and solid form, designed for inhalation. There was a need to protect the staff from unintentional respiration of these pharmaceutical products.
Kastner supplied and fitted vinyl flooring, Kastner laboratory benching and a bespoke specialist extraction system featuring a clear Perspex fume and particle collection hood and an adjustable arm which can be accurately positioned to collect contaminant.
Nanopharm are one of our regular clients and Kastner has completed several laboratory benching installations in their facility over the past few years.
